OpenTalk becomes a member of the Alliance for Education

OpenTalk is a new member of the Alliance for Education (BfB) and is thus intensifying the commitment to digital education. Within the BfB, companies from the IT industry, publishers, start-ups, educational institutions and representatives of the public sector come together to work on the development and implementation of standards and reference solutions for teaching and learning environments.
OpenTalk already offers numerous functions that support digital learning success. These include, for example, breakout rooms, polls, whiteboards and a talking stick. Further functions specifically for the education sector are being planned.
Joining the Alliance for Education underlines our commitment to digital education with our functional, intuitive and user-friendly video conferencing solution. One focus is on didactic considerations to provide teachers and learners with an effective digital learning environment.
"We are delighted to have won OpenTalk as an innovative provider for digitally sovereign video conferencing. Data protection is particularly important in the school environment. With OpenTalk's school-specific features, we have gained a partner in the Alliance for Education that is already thinking and implementing digital education," says Dr. Christian Büttner, 1st Chairman of the BfB.
True to the Alliance for Education's motto "No one can do it alone!", OpenTalk will play an important role in the BfB's various working groups.
