mailbox.org and OpenTalk at CloudFest 2023

Berlin, 11 March 2023 - mailbox.org, the Berlin-based email service specialising in data protection and data security, and OpenTalk, the German provider of secure video conferencing, will be exhibiting at CloudFest 2023 (20 to 23 March 2023) this year. The two subsidiaries of Heinlein Support GmbH will present their innovative solutions for secure e-mail and video conferencing at their own stands.

CloudFest (formerly WHD.global) will once again take place on the grounds of the Europa Park in Rust. Cloud experts from more than 65 countries will exchange information about the latest trends, innovations and solutions around the topic of cloud. A total of more than 6,000 visitors, 250 speakers and numerous exhibitors are expected on site this year. Cloudfest offers a unique combination of trade fair, keynotes and panels as well as networking in Europe's largest theme park.

mailbox.org (stand number R38) will showcase its solution for secure email inboxes including cloud storage, online office and video conferencing at Cloudfest 2023. The open source-based solution offers business customers and resellers a comprehensive communication platform that is operated by mailbox.org with its own technology on servers in German data centres. Digital sovereignty and the protection of one's own data are top priorities: modern encryption procedures are just as much a matter of course as DSGVO compliance.

OpenTalk (stand number R37), meanwhile, will present a solution for confidential videoconferencing based on open source that has been designed and developed from scratch. The platform, which only recently disclosed its code, meets high security standards and is thus particularly suitable for use in politics and administration, universities and schools. In addition to a sophisticated security concept and high scalability, OpenTalk brings with it a new range of functions that support video conference moderators in their daily work. These range from smart moderation tools to different types of voting functions, special breakout rooms or sub-room meetings to gamification functions to make meetings more interesting and varied for participants.
