OpenTalk meets ownCloud: Focus on practical collaboration

We are pleased to officially announce the partnership between OpenTalk and ownCloud. Both companies aim to dovetail their services for users to work seamlessly. OpenTalk is known for secure and user-friendly video conferencing. OwnCloud, on the other hand, is a reliable partner when it comes to storing, sharing and editing files in real time. Both partners put privacy, security and digital sovereignty first.
What can users expect?
The partnership aims to integrate ownCloud with the OpenTalk video conferencing platform. This means that in the future you will be able to securely store recordings, minutes, created whiteboards and other work results directly in your ownCloud - right from your OpenTalk video conference. We plan to roll out these features by the end of Q1 2024.
"The partnership with ownCloud is part of our strategy to integrate OpenTalk with proven open source solutions, enabling users to easily and conveniently use their tools. With ownCloud, we have a long-known and powerful partner at our side for this purpose," says Markus Michels, CEO of OpenTalk.
Summary
The partnership between OpenTalk and ownCloud may not change the world, but it will offer concrete, practical improvements in the future for anyone who wants a secure and efficient digital working environment. - And in doing so, value the fact that their data is hosted in Germany and Europe and even completely under their own control.
