OpenTalk at the 3rd Public Procurement Law Day MV

On Thursday, September 19, 2024, the 3rd Procurement Law Day Mecklenburg-Vorpommern will take place in Rostock. The event offers the opportunity to find out about the latest developments in public procurement law and to exchange ideas with experts and colleagues. The Procurement Law Day will focus on the topics of compliance with collective agreements, sustainability and the challenges of public procurement.
Speakers include Daniel Zielke, Director of Strategic Partnerships at OpenTalk and Heinlein Support. In his presentation “Open source, digital sovereignty and procurement - can they go together?”, he will explain how public authorities can not only strengthen their digital sovereignty by using open source software, but also make procurement procedures transparent and legally compliant. He will give practical tips on what to look out for when tendering for open source software in order to meet the legal requirements. Daniel Zielke's presentation will take place at 10:15 a.m. and promises valuable insights into the potential of open source for public administration.
