OpenTalk at the Graz Linux Days: Insights into development

The Graz Linux Days are one of the most important open source conferences in the German-speaking world and will take place on April 25 and 26 at the Graz University of Technology, Campus Inffeldgasse. They offer a platform for the exchange of ideas on free software, open source, and free hardware platforms.
On April 26, 2025, OpenTalk will be represented at the Graz Linux Days with a presentation. In “Reports from the OpenTalk engine room,” our developer Wolfgang Silbermayr will provide insight into the technical development of our open source video conferencing solution. The presentation will begin at 1:00 p.m. in Lecture Hall i7 and is aimed at anyone interested in secure video conferencing, digital sovereignty, and modern software development.
In his presentation, Wolfgang will show how we have modernized our technical basis, migrated code, and continuously developed OpenTalk—and what challenges had to be overcome in the process. Whether you are a developer, IT decision-maker, or open source enthusiast, if you want to learn more about the architecture and future of our video conferencing solution, don't miss this presentation. We look forward to seeing you in Graz!
