Heinlein Akademie is expanding its training programme and is now offering the practical course ‘OpenTalk Enterprise Administration’ for professional self-operation of OpenTalk. IT administrators of companies, providers and public authorities who want to design their digital communication in a self-determined and secure way can now learn how to professionally install and securely administer the video conferencing solution from OpenTalk professionals. The course is aimed at IT admins with basic Linux knowledge who want to get the most out of OpenTalk.
What can you expect at the OpenTalk installation workshop?
The three-day workshop, led by Robin Landsmann, Professional Service Consultant at Systemschmiede, offers a comprehensive introduction to installing and administering OpenTalk. Participants learn how to implement OpenTalk on different systems, from simple installations on a host to complex high-availability setups. Other topics covered in the course include:
- OpenTalk architecture and operating scenarios
- WebRTC, UDP vs. TURN
- Ensuring reliability with backup and state recovery
- In-depth insights into the provision and development of OpenTalk
Previous knowledge:
To take part in the course, you should already have experience with Linux and be comfortable working on the console. Ideally, you should also have knowledge of networks and Docker. We also recommend that you attend our ‘Linux Admin Advanced’ training course beforehand to be fully prepared.
